
Izzy and her “side-kick” Lizzy are incredibly fun tuxedo feline sisters. While they enjoy their "supervised" outdoor visits to the backyard only - they wanted to spread the word to their canine friends about these Doggie Must-"Doo" Outdoor Adventures:
Bryant Lake Regional Dog Park [part of the Three Rivers Park District] 6800 Rowland Road, Eden Prairie:
Dogs go Wild for this spacious 9.3 acre fully-fenced/Off-Leash play area in beautiful Bryant Lake Regional Park. The paved skijoring/dog sledding trails are dog-friendly and a Must-Doo Doggie Outdoor Adventure. Doggies must be on a 6-foot, non-retractable leash except in designated Off-Leash areas that are perfect to run, run, run in! Leashed dogs are allowed on all paved trails except where posted otherwise. Dogs-on-leash are also allowed in campgrounds and group camps, but not in the picnic or beach areas [passes are required for these areas and can be purchased online]. This Park also boasts a rain garden (season permitting) and a special area for smaller dogs to play in. Fresh clean drinking water and "bags" are provided. There are also walking trails and restrooms. This Delightful Doggie Park is open from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm! Run Free Doggies!
IZZY AND LIZZY ANNOUNCE: Hey Doggie Friends--The Dog Commons On-Leash Dog Trails at the Magnificent Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is the place to go! Get your two-legged person to take you there! Explore the 65-acre dog-trail system! Discover lots of places to run, socialize and let your owner unwind in the awesome scenery only the Arboretum can offer. Walking your dog is far from a “chore” here! The Blue Dog Trail is a 1-1/4 mile long outer loop with low-lying wetland woods and a meadow edge that is a 25-40 minute walk. The Green Dog Trail is a 2/3 mile inner loop--around a former hay field that is buffered by maple wood which is a 15-20 minute stroll.
